Today we express our gratitude for your courage, strength, and resilience. You are the foundation and the light of our nation, those who safeguard Ukraine’s independence and freedom every day. Thanks to your dedication, we are able to work, raise our children, dream of the future, and believe in Victory, even in the midst of the hardships of war. You are our pride and shield, an example of steadfastness and bravery.
Your heroism continues the glorious traditions of the Ukrainian Cossacks, who always stood in defense of their native land. It was the Cossacks who instilled in Ukrainians the ideals of freedom and independence, and today you bring these ideals to life by protecting Ukraine from the enemy.
